GEOExtension is a Clearmud product that audits public webpages and measures whether selected AI assistants mention a business in response to a fixed set of buyer questions. Results are evidence, not a promise of ranking, traffic, revenue, or future AI behavior. By using GEOExtension, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be legally able to enter a contract and, when acting for a company, authorized to bind that company. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding access to your Google account and extension connection codes, and activity performed through your account.
The free audit applies deterministic checks to a page you choose. Visibility probes send generated buyer questions to third-party AI providers using accounts we operate, then summarize mentions, citations, and apparent recommendation patterns. Models, provider availability, feature details, quotas, and report formats may change as the underlying services change. We will not deliberately replace real results with fabricated rankings or demo data.
Use GEOExtension only for lawful business research and for pages and information you are authorized to evaluate. Do not use it to probe private systems, evade access controls, disrupt the service, resell account access, automate around quotas, submit unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another business, or infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights. We may suspend abusive activity to protect customers, providers, and the service.
Paid Pro plans renew automatically monthly or annually at the price and cadence shown during checkout until canceled. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method associated with your subscription. You can manage or cancel through the Stripe billing portal linked from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless the portal states otherwise. We will provide notices required by applicable law. Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees already paid are non-refundable and unused probe allowances do not roll over or convert to cash.
You retain ownership of the business information and other material you submit. You give us a limited license to process that material only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the requested product functions. Our handling of account data, page excerpts, probe questions, provider answers, and analytics is described in the Privacy Policy.
AI answers are probabilistic, can be incomplete or inaccurate, and may change between runs. Scores, recommendations, competitors, citations, and action plans require your review. GEOExtension does not provide legal, financial, medical, security, or other regulated professional advice, and you remain responsible for changes made to your website or business based on a report.
Any done-for-you implementation sprint or ongoing care plan is separate from the Pro subscription and begins only after Clearmud and the customer agree in writing on scope, price, access, timing, and any additional terms. Purchasing Pro does not obligate either party to enter an implementation engagement.
Clearmud and its licensors own GEOExtension's software, branding, documentation, audit logic, and interface, excluding your information and third-party material. These terms grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is permitted to access it.
GEOExtension relies on services including Google, Stripe, Convex, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Perplexity. Their outages, model changes, policies, and content are outside our control, and your direct use of their websites or accounts is governed by their terms.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, security threats, nonpayment, or when continuing a feature becomes unlawful or impractical. Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including payment, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or any guaranteed business outcome. Clearmud will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Clearmud's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for GEOExtension during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted.
We may update these terms as the product or law changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects paid customers' rights. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
